Hong Kong Day 19 -- Very rainy day

Today Ciara and I picked up buns at the bakery again and ate them up at our workspace in the office.  Today I had a sausage wrapped in a bun and a pineapple butter bun.  It was rainy all day, lightened up enough at lunch time to go out and get food.  Went to a Thai place near the office.  It was good, but I've been wanting Thai like I'm used to at home (don't know which is more authentic).  I got beef brisket in yellow curry.  It was nice and warm, the perfect kind of dish for a rainy day.  Rainy days here aren't cold like they are at home, but the curry still hit the spot.

After work we headed back to our apartments, and relaxed for a bit.  It was still raining, so we went quickly, umbrellas helped some, but we still got kind of wet.  I watched a couple of Modern Family episodes.  We ate at the Hysan Place again tonight.  Since it was raining we went down into the MTR across the street from our apartment and walked through to get to the Hysan Place exit.  We didn't have to go through the turnstiles, were able to just walk around to the other exit.  I went to Pepper Lunch and got the steak that I got before.  It was a lot of food, but it had been a while since we ate, so I finished it pretty quickly.  After eating, we walked back through the MTR and went into Sogo to get some dessert.  Ciara got some at Hysan Place to "take away" and I felt like I wanted some after we left, so we stopped at Sogo.  I got a cream puff with strawberries and whipped cream.  It was really good, and was less than $3 US.
